Rally at the River 2025
The 23rd Annual Rally at the River benefit concert for St. Jude will be on June 20-21, 2025 at McFarland Park. Rally at the River was started twenty-two years ago by a group of nonprofit people to support St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The public is invited to attend.

Vintage Pickers Market
The first-ever Vintage Pickers Market at Studio 23 will be held on June 21st from 9 to 3. They will have the area's best antique and vintage resellers. There will be home decor, collectibles, vintage clothing, and more!

7th Annual Food Truck Festival
The 7th Annual Food Truck Festival at Singin’ River Brewing Co. will be on Saturday, June 7th from 6:30PM-8:30PM.

Helen Keller Festival Color Run (Rescheduled)
The run is a 5K Fun Run and Fundraising Event that starts in downtown Tuscumbia and ends in Spring Park. Participants will be showered with color throughout with a food truck and more color fun at the finish line. This is a family-friendly event that benefits the festival and our Keller Kids program.

First Fridays Florence: June
Visit historic Downtown Florence every first Friday of the month to see a variety of booths from unique local vendors, listen to talented musicians, and grab a bite to eat from some of your favorite food trucks. .

Haleyville 9-1-1 Festival
Haleyville is hosting their annual 9-1-1 Festival June 6-7th featuring live music, local vendors, a car show and tractor show, rewards for first responders and more!

FAME Presents: A Tribute to Travis Wammack
FAME Presents: A Tribute to Travis Wammack on Tuesday, June 3 at the Shoals Theatre in downtown Florence. Join FAME studios for a once-in-a-lifetime musical celebration honoring the legendary Travis Wammack—one of the most iconic guitarists and pioneers of the Muscle Shoals sound.

Buddy Walk at Wilson Park
The Chadwick Foundation is hosting an inaugural Buddy Walk at Wilson Park in Florence, AL, on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from 12-4 PM! This event is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting the exceptional needs community, featuring a variety of activities for the whole family, including a 1-mile walk, entertainment, a community fair, kids' activities, and more!
Marines Helping Maries 4 Man Scramble Golf Tournament
The 4th Annual Marines Helping Marines 4 Man Scramble Golf Tournament will be on May 31st at Cypress Lake Golf and Tennis Club. There will be a shotgun start at 8:30AM. All funds from the tournament benefit Veterans and the Conley Detachment #1477.

Summer Tennis Camp with Clay Mize
USPTA Certified Professional Clay Mize will be offering two summer Tennis Camps for kids ages 8-13. The first will be at Royal Avenue Tennis Courts from May 26 - May 29.

Keller's Canvas
The Helen Keller Festival will be hosting Keller’s Canvas at the Tennessee Valley Museum of art in Tuscumbia. It will feature speakers for a night of community and learning with special guest Jeanie Thompson.

2nd Annual Cramer Kids Classic
The 2nd Annual Cramer Kids Classic will be at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail on May 23rd. This signature fundraising event invites local businesses, teams, and community leaders to “swing for a cause” and help fund critical services for abused and traumatized children across Northwest Alabama.

Buford Pusser Festival
This year’s Buford Pusser Festival in Adamsville, TN will be on May 22-24.
RISE ABOVE Tour
One of CAF’s eighty squadrons, RISE ABOVE (formally known as the Red Tail Squadron), tells the story of the Tuskegee Airman, their successes, the obstacles they faced, and the timeless lessons they teach us about perseverance and courage. The tour will be open to the public May 22-26, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm each day. Admission is free. Location is: Million Air Birmingham, 4725 65th Place, Birmingham, AL 35206

Arts Alive 2025
The 2025 Art Alive Festival will be on May 17-18th at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts and Wilson Park in Downtown Florence. The festival features quality national, regional and local artists and crafters. Admission is free.
Covenant Christian School Eagle Run
Covenant Christian School is having their Eagle Run 2025 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run. Both races are certified and will begin and finish at Covenant Christian School. The 5K will begin at 8AM on Saturday, May 17th and the Fun Run will begin at 9AM or (following last 5k finisher).

Shoals Storytelling Festival 2025
The Shoals Storytelling Festival will be May 15-17th at the Shoals Theatre. They are hosting a variety of professional storytellers as well as musicians each day.

2nd Annual Shoals Cottagecore Festival
The 2nd Annual Shoals Cottagecore Festival will be on Saturday, May 10, 2025! It will be showcasing over 90 skilled artisan vendors, the best food trucks in the Shoals, Entertainment, activities and more!!

Stamp Out Hunger
Participate in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive on Saturday, May 10. Bag healthy, non-perishable food items and place near your mailbox. Your letter carrier will do the rest. Donations will go to people in our community.

Peter Pan Jr. by Shoals Christian School Drama Department

Disney's the Lion King: Live in Concert
The Shoals Symphony will be performing the music to Disney’s the Lion King at Norton Auditorium on May 3, 2025 at 7pm.

Lucky Duck Dive
There will be a Lucky Duck Dive at Royal Avenue Pool in Florence with all proceeds benefitting the Florence Education Foundation. The drawing will be on May 3 at 12PM. One lucky duck will be drawn for $5,000. It’s $10 per duck.

3rd Annual Cruise In Car Show
Colbert County Schools is having its 3rd Annual Cruise In Car show to benefit Skills USA. The show will be a tFaith Church on HWY 72 in Tuscumbia on Saturday, May 3rd from 10AM-2PM.

There will be an indoor and outdoor flea market in Cloverdale on May 3-4. It will be at the old Cloverdale Elementary School.

Jazz on the Porch
The University of North Alabama Cole Honors College and Department of Music present Jazz on the Porch. There will be jazz performances by UNA Student and faculty on April 30 from 5-7pm at Coby Hall on UNA’s campus.
