5th Annual Autism Awareness Fundraiser
The 5th Annual Autism Awareness Fundraiser & Car Show will be on August 22 at Rogersville Recreational Park. It will be from 8am-6pm. There will be Disney characters, vendors, crafts, live music, and inflatables. This event is benefitting JM’s journey.

Hearth & Harvest on Montgomery in Sheffield
Hearth & Harvest on Montgomery is a Fall monthly community market centered around local food, gardening, baking, herbs, plants, and traditional homestead culture. The goal is to create a welcoming gathering space where residents can shop directly from local growers, bakers, gardeners, herbalists, and makers while supporting Sheffield’s small businesses and community culture.

"Breath of Life" Watercolor Exhibition
The Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts is pleased to present a watercolor exhibition, "Breath of Life" by Cullman, Alabama artist Laura Walker beginning July 5, 2026, and continuing through August 20, 2026. A reception will be held on Sun., July 19, 2-4 p.m. in conjunction with the "Mostly Blues" Invitational exhibit. This series of watercolor paintings explore the symbolism of animals and their meanings to the people who see them.

Hot Dog Fest will be kicking off Handy Week on Mobile Plaza in Downtown Florence. There will be a Vendor Market, dunking booth, cornhole, hot dog eating contest, weenie dog racing, and best dressed weenie dog.

This year’s festival celebrating the “Father of the Blues,” W.C. Handy, will be held from July 15-26, 2026.
Handy Street Party 2026
The 6th Annual Handy Street Party will be on Saturday, July 11 from 5-9PM. It will feature performances by Penny and Sparrow, Thad Saajid w/ the Company, and Bold Bloom.
Benefit Ride for Bray
Visit Natchez Trace Harley-Davidson on July 11 for a benefit bike ride in support of Bray Bray who is fighting against cancer. Every donation, raffle ticket, meal, and ride helps support her and her family.
Art Camp For Adults
Florence Arts & Museums is happy to host Monica Yother of Studio 127 on Saturday, July 11th from 10am - 4pm at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts. Join us for a full day of creative fun! The event will take place in Southall at KD, 209 E. Tuscaloosa St. in Florence.
5th Annual Singing River 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
The 5th Annual Singing River 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run will be on Saturday, July 11, 2026. The 5K starts at 8:30AM and the 1 mile begins at 10AM. There will also be a car show & live music at 10AM. All of the proceeds go to support SHINE outreaches and #988 Suicide Lifeline.
The Ransom Brothers at Singin' River Brewing
The Ransom Brothers are performing live at Singin’ River Brewing on July 10 at 7PM. The Ransom Brothers are Austin-based Southern country rockers pushing the boundaries of Americana. May Day Music Fest 2026
The 6th Annual May Day Music Festival will be at Spring Park in Tuscumbia on Sunday, July 5 from 12pm-8pm This event benefits the CU360 sanctuary, a resource center for Veterans and their families. There will be live music throughout the day, a kid’s corner, and more!
Spirit of Freedom Celebration 2026
The 43rd Annual Spirit of Freedom Celebration will be on Saturday, July 4th 2026 at McFarland Park. There will be food trucks, live music, fireworks, and a day full of fun by the river. Celebrate 250 years of the US with us on Independence Day!
Walker Ranch Fireworks Show
Walker Ranch in Florence is having a fireworks show on July 3rd. Gates open at 7pm, fireworks are at 9pm. Any donations will go to support Oakland Volunteer Fire Department.
