Christmas Parades
Stuff the Bus Toy Drive 2025
The 2025 Stuff the Bus Toy Drive in the Shoals will be starting on Dec 1st and continuing through the 14th. The Shoals Now and Singing River Media Group Radio Stations will be accepting toys for kids from kindergarten through high school. We will have (2) locations for your toy drop-offs this year. In Florence, the bus will be at the Walmart on Hough Rd. There will also be a bus at the Muscle Shoals Walmart located on Avalon Ave.
Holiday Tour of Homes 2025
Caring Place of the Shoals presents the 2025 Holiday Tour of Homes featuring 10 homes in the Shoals.
15th Annual It's a Dickens Christmas Y'all
The 15th Annual It's A Dickens Christmas Y'all is happening on December 13! Be prepared for snow falling, a wonderful Christmas market, s'mores, Santa, carriage rides, and more!! Dickens boasts a packed weekend of all the nostalgic holiday magic you can dream of, and we cannot wait to celebrate the season in style!
Shoals Holiday Concert 2025
The Shoals Holiday Concert is back at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame, bringing a delightful blend of holiday cheer and exceptional music. This year’s concert will be held on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025 at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the music starting at 6:30 PM.
Santa's Workshop: Holiday Market
Get ready for a magical holiday shopping experience at Santa’s Workshop Holiday Market on Saturday, December 20th at Gym 3 at Gattman Park.
New Year's Eve Bash
A great event to bring in the new year at Singing River Brewing Co.! There will be vendors, food trucks, a ball drop New Year Style with live music.
New Year's Eve at Swamper's Bar & Grille
Ring in 2026 at Swampers Bar & Grille! The Band ViCTORiA will begin at 5:30pm and Howell Sledge & The Revue will take over at 9:00pm. There will be New Year themed cocktails, special appetizers, party favors and a midnight countdown!
Night to Shine Shoals 2026
Night to Shine Shoals 2026 will be Friday, February 13, 2026, at the University of North Alabama in the Gulliot University Center! Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older.
Muscle Shoals Meets the 70s
After rocking the house with the 80s last year, The Princess Theatre is turning back the clock once again—this time to the groovy, soulful, genre-shaping sounds of the 1970s. Don’t miss the highly anticipated return of Muscle Shoals Meets the 70s on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
Rock the South 2026
The music festival, Rock the South, will be in Decatur, AL June 11-13, 2026 with Headliners Jason Aldean, Riley Green, and Zach Top.

Florence Arts & Museums is excited to announce a Holiday Gift-Making Demo with Mothering Herbs. Hosted by Summer McCreless, this event will provide an opportunity for participants to learn tips, tricks, and recipes for hand-made holiday gifts they can make on their own at home. This event will take place on December 7th, 2025, from 1-2pm at Pope's Tavern Museum

Get ready for festive fun at Shoals Christian Christmas Market on Dec 6fh from 9am-4pm. Shop for gifts from over 60 vendors while socializing and listening to Christmas music. Grab a coffee or hot chocolate from Wander Coffee, and stay for lunch from the food truck!
Storytime at the Museum: Nature in Winter
Florence Arts & Museums is happy to announce another one of our Storytime at the Museum class series. They will have a winter story and craft on Friday, December 5th from 10-11am at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts. Join Florence Arts & Museums for an Open Mic Night on Tuesday, November 25th at 6:30pm in the Southall House at KDAC. The theme is Honor, featuring original poetry by Lori Lasseter.
Dinosaur Explorer Camp
This two day camp is all about dinosaurs, fossils and famous paleontologists! Camp will take place Monday, November 24 and Tuesday November 25 from 9am-12pm for children 3-12yrs old. We are going to dig for fossils, have sensory play areas, and learn about paleontologists.
Tree Lighting on North Court Street
