Get ready for a night of poetry at Florence Art & Museums' Open Mic Night, happening on Tuesday, March 31st, 6:30 pm at Southall House, 209 E. Tuscaloosa St., Florence. Featured guest, Steve Harrison, will be sharing original poetry. This month, poets are invited to share their original works that relate to the prompt: A Historic Event.
Steve Harrison's poems have appeared in Boudin, Milkweed Poetry, the Southern Humanities Review, Ekphrastic Review, South Carolina Review, Yakima, Cold Mountain Review, and other journals and reviews. After retiring from a career in the software industry, he has taught English and world literature. He lives in Auburn, Alabama.
