Join Florence Alabama Museums on Saturday, August 29th from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Southall at KD to make something beautiful together! This event marks the first installment of our FAM Gatherings. FAM Gatherings is a series that seeks to bring together communities across Florence to have critical conversations, establish a sense of belonging, and create and examine art. In this workshop, Florence Arts & Museums will be partnering with Nadene Mairesse from Idyllwilde and Liza Jane Richey from Studio 114 at Lowe Mill for a collaborative art making experience. Over wine and refreshments, participants will have the opportunity to engage in warm up activities, community-based painting exercises, and use a variety of materials to make a huge collage as a group.

This event is free to the public. However, registration will be limited to fifteen participants. This event will be limited to ages 21+.
